The market is reporting that Uber are now on the hunt for parking spaces to support and assist their growing fleet of Taxi drivers. Uber's workforce doubled last year and is on a similarly hot pace this year as growth is accelerating, with new riders joining and existing users taking more trips.

Marchmont know Uber's particular needs, having recently assisted them in their search for their Corporate HQ in the Royal Docks.  Marchmont's Client, Accor Hotels, a French hotel chain with International coverage appointed Marchmont to undertake the disposal of 11,000 sq.ft of surplus ground floor space on a waterside location at London’s Royal Victoria Dock, adjacent to ExCeL London.

Concluding the deal meant overcoming many hurdles, including legacy issues dating back from the original LDDC before they could be housed and settled in.

The Car Parking market has been most competitive of late, so Marchmont wish Uber well in their search for suitable parking provision.
