Marchmont won a tender to partner a client and deliver dilapidation services on the downsizing of their property portfolio.
The client wanted a fast track programme on 73 sites and required financial certainty and payment of their dilapidation liability prior to their year end.
A partnership fee structure was agreed based on Marchmont receiving a share of the savings achieved during negotiations and with an emphasis on speed of completion.
Marchmont delivered £1.2 million saving or a 67% saving against the clients previously audited internal dilapidation budget and completed 85% of negotiations within 3 months of receipt of a schedule of dilapidations.
